Every level ends with quizzes and a tutor review. Pass them and you receive a certificate of completion.
- Level 1
Beginner Amharic
Sounds and script, greetings, numbers, everyday words, and your first real conversations. No previous Amharic needed.
- Level 2
Elementary Amharic
Talk about daily life, family, work, and plans. Build sentences you can actually use and understand simple replies.
- Level 3
Intermediate Amharic
Hold longer conversations, tell stories, explain opinions, and follow native speakers at natural speed.
- Level 4
Upper-Intermediate Amharic
Speak at length on unfamiliar topics, follow news and discussions, and write clear, well-organised text with fewer mistakes.
- Level 5
Advanced Amharic
Fluency and confidence: interviews, presentations, debates, and the cultural nuance that makes you sound natural.
- Level 6
Academic Amharic
Formal and academic Amharic: read literature and official documents, write essays and reports, and speak with authority in professional and scholarly settings.

Questions about learning Amharic with us
Do I need to know the Ethiopian script first?
No. The Beginner level teaches the Ge'ez (fidel) script step by step alongside speaking, so you read and talk at the same time.
Who teaches the classes?
Experienced Amharic tutors teach every class live on Google Meet, with speaking practice every session.
Can I learn Amharic and another language at the same time?
Yes. One account can be registered for more than one language, each with its own tutor, classes, and certificate.
